Pricing Plans

One of the key advantages of Agilebase is its scalability – the ability to start from small systems for an SME or department and over time support many areas of business operations across the whole organisation. This sets us apart from many market solutions which can only go so far in functionality and scale.

Practically, this means we need to adapt our hosting and service to the needs of different demands and to that end, the first part of our pricing structure is our base plans – we have 5 plans A through to E

Checkbox grid showing the detailed features in each plan A - E

Plan A – Agility: a quick start to your bespoke system. Suitable for small systems where process automation isn’t needed

Plan B – Business Efficiency: automate tasks and communications

Plan C – Connectivity: larger systems typically start to build in close integration with other apps and processes throughout the business

Plan D – Distribution: we’ve found that as businesses start to seriously scale, they have various needs which we’ve packaged into this plan. Since one size might not fit all, each feature can also be purchased a la carte and added on to plan C, but plan D suits those who need many and is offered at a reduced cost compared to the constituent components.

Plan E – Enterprise: contact us for more information

Plan D details

The components of plan D are

  • multi-tenanting – allows different companies in a group structure (or other groupings of people) to share the same system whilst separating their data from others
  • BI reporting (100 views included) – allows management reporting tools to easily ingest data in bulk, as well as other operational dashboards (e.g. Grafana) or specific industry tools like label printing machines. ODBC technology is used.
  • Plan D hosting only – a combination of
    1. a dedicated application server separate to all other customers. The primary advantages are
      • performance monitoring – our tools can monitor the application without the data from ‘noisy neighbour’ tenants, allowing us to troubleshoot and address any issues quickly
      • suitability for high intensity use – faster platform updates, which can be scheduled to times of your choosing and test-run on your test server(s) first
    2. high resource capacity database hosting on at least a 32GB, 8 CPU PostgreSQL server (with a separate database replica to serve BI reporting)

Continuous improvement

Whatever plan you’re on, we do also continuously improve the efficiency and performance of the system as part of our regular updates. If you’re struggling with a particular part of the system, please do contact us, there is often a way to improve performance without requiring a plan update, which is preferable as performance improvements for one customer often have knock on benefits for all.

Recent performance related improvements have been

  • more nuanced caching techniques (the use of both concurrent and non-concurrent materialized view updates, depending on context)
  • cutting out unnecessary workflow runs by adding the option to run them *only* on record load, not on record creation, if applicable
  • visualising the contributors to the time taken to open a record (processing field visibility rules, embedded charts etc.)
  • the use of www.pgmustard.com for specific performance advice for individual views

and more is on the roadmap
