Use AI to create and edit charts
This month we’ve added AI-powered features to built-in charting.
Now you can create new charts and edit existing ones using AI (as well as manually). Here’s a quick video of how it works:
Thank you Gemma from https://marriagebristol.com for sharing this idea. Please try it out in your own system and let us know how you get on!
Use AI to pull out key facts and figures from your data
You can now use AI to pull key facts and figures (such as your chosen KPIs) from your data and display them as summary indicators at the top of a view.
To enable this, edit a view → Properties and options → tick Show key indicators above data.

It may take a few seconds for AI to generate the values the first time, but they’ll soon appear—and they update in real time with filtering, just like charts.
How customers are using AI for workflows
AI workflows have been live for while, and here are some ways customers are already putting them to use:
Timesheet categorisation – Automatically suggest analysis categories based on a timesheet description.
Product naming – For example, in the food industry, customers are using AI to generate draft product descriptions from recipes, ready for human review.
Exception reporting – In the care sector, customers are using Agilbease to analyse detailed care records and highlight where data doesn’t match a care plan.
Document template generation – This one isn’t strictly a use of the Agilebase feature, but one customer uses third-party AI tools to generate large sets of HTML templates for Agilebase.
If you have a good use, let us know, we’d love to hear about it.
